In Texas, you choose where your car is repaired

Texas law gives you the right to choose the shop that repairs your vehicle. An insurance company may not require you to use a particular shop, or limit your coverage because of the shop you choose.

Choosing a shop is separate from what your insurance covers. Your policy and your insurer decide what a claim pays and what your deductible is. If you are filing a claim, confirm your coverage with your insurer. Either way, we are glad to look at the damage with you.

Paying out of pocket, or no collision coverage?

Many people pay for body repairs themselves: their policy is liability only, or the damage is close to their deductible. When the money is yours, you should understand exactly what you are paying for.

We look at the damage with you, explain what needs attention and why, and talk through practical options. That can mean separating what affects how the car works from what is cosmetic, or whether a panel can be repaired instead of replaced. You decide what gets done, and no work starts until you approve it.
